One of our new 4th grade students just lost everything in a house fire. If you have any hygiene products, or clothes that could help this family out it would be appreciated. Boy 10/12 size 4.5 shoes. Girl junior size 5 pants size 8 shoes. Parents we are figuring out.
In person enrollment will be July 23 from 8:30-11:30. You can get the forms from the school's web site. Please be sure to also get a free lunch application. We will have free athletic physicals at the school July 29 at 10:00am.
May 9 Farm Bureau is doing a bike safety class for us. They will also be having a drawing for a bike. On May 10 we will have Ride Your Bike To School Day. We will meet at the church on the highway at 7:55.
Parents we have a tree that has fallen on electric lines. There is no way they will have electric back on in a decent amount of time. School is cancelled.
Sorry for the short notice. 5-8 is having to go virtual today due to an electrical problem in their building. We will deliver Chromebooks to your house this morning. If your child must come to school, we can accommodate them. Again this is only 5th - 8th grades!
The Hulah Water District boil advisory has been lifted. Chlorine levels have been tested twice by DEQ, so I feel comfortable with the students drinking the water out of our fountains.
This is a difficult call, but we are going to do another virtual day tomorrow. The roads are still slick in a lot of places. It's not worth someone getting hurt. Stay home and safe!
We are going to pass out chromebooks today. We are not cancelling school at this time just getting prepared if the roads are slick in the morning. We will be at the school to distribute at 1:00 if you would like to pick your child’s up.
We will not have school again tomorrow, January 19, 2024. I have posted an article on the school web site to give a little more information. We will move to virtual learning on Monday if we are not able to return.
